Sunday we begin our annual Week of Prayer with a special sermon and lesson on the topic of prayer. Our guest preacher is Rev. Matthew Mierski, Assistant Pastor at First Presbyterian Ch. in Schenectady. His sermon, “The Door that God Must Open" is from Colossians 4:2-6. Matthew and his wife Bethany both grew up near Pittsburgh, and met at Duquesne University. He graduated from Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary in 2018, and was ordained in 2019. Matt and Bethany have two young children, Levi and Hannah.
During Prayer Week this year, we will have 3 in-person prayer meetings, as well as ZOOM meetings:
***Due to the heavy snow Monday's in-person prayer meeting is cancelled; we will have a Zoom ONLY prayer meeting at 7:00 pm (see the email from the Pastor for the new link).
Please plan to participate as much as possible. Pray that the Lord blesses our meetings and gives us a greater desire to be praying in 2021.
