Our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service is Thursday Dec. 24th at 7:30 PM. It's a cherished time to worship God and celebrate the incarnation of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All are welcome. The service lasts an hour.
Sunday, Dec. 20th, is our annual CHRISTMAS CAROLING EVENT. Come to church at 6:00 PM, dressed for the weather! We will organize ourselves, pray, then car-pool to a nearby neighborhood to sing outdoors for most of an hour, inviting folks to church. Then we return to CPCC for refreshments by the new fireplace!
Advent, the four Sundays before Christmas, is the season Christians remember and celebrate the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ — the promised incarnation of God, to be our Savior. In our Advent worship services we sing traditional hymns and carols, and a church family lights the Advent candles — reminding us that Jesus is the Light of the world.
This year our advent sermons bring truth to bear in a timely fashion: "Piercing the Darkness — God's Plan to Destroy Evil, Sin and Death." Services at CPCC begin at 9:30 AM and anyone is welcome to attend. "We have visitors almost every week, and we invite you to join us!" says Pastor David Bissett.
