Gospel Advance is excited to host its first Charles Simeon Trust Workshop on Biblical Exposition at Clifton Park Community Church, on October 21-23, 2015. This workshop is for those responsible for the regular public preaching ministry of the Word of God, and men preparing for that ministry. It is designed to strengthen one’s ability to better understand and proclaim the Word of God with the goal of strengthening the local church.
The workshop includes a combination of interactive large group instructional sessions, encouraging examples of exposition, and small group workshops — where every participant works through passages of Scripture. Each CST Workshop focuses on a specific genre of Biblical literature. This workshop is on Gospels and will be exploring John. We hope to host these workshops on an annual basis and systematically work through the different genres of Scripture.
