September 13th is our annual “Covenant Sunday” when we recite our CPCC Covenant [also on the back the bulletin] and remind ourselves of the importance of belonging to a local church. It is a Communion Sunday too, so we will share the Lord's Supper together (with our new limited-contact procedures).
On Sept. 13th we will also have our annual Sunday School assembly (11 AM in the sanctuary) — to hear a lesson on Christian discipleship, as well as to present our options for holding children’s classes this fall.
UPDATE/CHANGE — on further consideration, we have cancelled the fellowship luncheon. Plans are being made to hold some sort of outdoor fellowship event in the weeks ahead.
