As the school year ends, and the weather grows warmer we look forward to a special time of fellowship at our annual church picnic! This year the venue is the same — Collins Park, across the street from the church — but the new date is now August 23rd.
Each family will bring their own meat to grill, and a salad or dessert to share with the group. The church provides the paper goods, and the beverages. Folks also bring along their own lawn chairs and recreational equipment (baseball gloves, frisbees, etc.), and enjoy the afternoon together at the park.
This year we will again have a “bouncy house” for the kids! Everyone is welcome to attend – and visitors often come to the picnic too!
