At CPCC we often have a time for Child Dedication in the morning worship service, as parents bring their little ones before the Lord and the congregation. Our next time for a dedication will be on Sunday morning,  June 8th. 

The purpose of child dedication is found in the purpose of the parents. Rightly understood, it is parental dedication — parents are pledging themselves to obey a command of the Bible: “...do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.” At a dedication, the parents (and other family members stand to declare their hopes and plans for the child -- and the congregation responds, pledging their help. It is a beuatiful time for the local church to seek the Lord's blessing on the next generation.
