This summer, Pastor Bissett will bring a sermon series "Meet the Minor Prophets" covering the twelve Minor Prophets” in the Old Testament — with a single sermon on each one. We hope this provides our congregation with an overview of an often neglected, but important section of our Bibles.

Each week you'll be asked to read in advance the Minor Prophet book for that Sunday, so the sermon will be better understood. As you do that, consider the work of Pastor Mark Dever, who has preached an overview sermon on all 66 books of the Old & New Testaments (published in two volumes by Crossway, 2006). In covering the Minor Prophets, he saw each book as addressing “eternal questions” and so organized his twelve sermons around those questions.

As Pastor Bissett preaches these same books he will have his own title and emphasis, but will mention these questions — and their answers — in our sermon.
