On Sunday, May 17th, CPCC will have a guest preacher (while the Bissett's are away for Heather's college graduation), Pastor Taylor Callen of Horicon Baptist Church where he has served since 2021. He grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana and became a Christian in 2007. He studied Biblical Studies at Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, TX, and later earned his Master of Divinity from Midwestern Seminary. Taylor married his wife, Catherine (Caiti), in 2019, and was ordained for gospel ministry the very next day. Pastor Bissett met Taylor a couple years ago at a Simeon Trust Preaching Workshop hosted here at CPCC. 

For hobbies, Taylor enjoys conversations about theology & the Bible, going to the beach with his family, working in the yard, and good audiobooks. Above all, he loves spending time with Caiti and their three children: Mah'Jesty, Piper, and Mason.
