WEEKLY -- CPCC has three regular times for corporate prayer in our "Prayer Room" (Room #8 off of Fellowship Hall):
• Sunday mornings @ 9:15 AM, is a brief time to pray for the worship service with the Pastor and others.
• Wednesdays at 10:00 AM, and again in the evening at 7:00 PM. These midweek meetings begin with a few minutes of praise and thanks as we worship the Lord in prayer. Then we have a brief devotional Bible study, to fuel our faith and passion for prayer. Afterwards we have a time of sharing requests and spend the remainder of the hour interceeding and petitioning the Lord. (No one is ever coerced to pray aloud.) The Wednesdy evening meeting is both in-person and also on Zoom – email the church to ask for the link.
ANNUALLY --
• Every January is our annual Week of Prayer with a guest preacher in the morning service, who also teaches the Adult Class on the topic of prayer. On that Sunday night we have a special hour-long "Concert of Prayer." During Prayer Week we have three in-person prayer meetings (Monday, Wednesday & Friday) and a Prayer Breakfast on Saturday.
• Every May, on the first Thursday, we participlate in the National Day of Prayer, and join with neigboring churches to pray together.
