DESCRIPTION:Giving Thanks service &amp\; Pie Social\nEvery November on the
Sunday evening prior to Thanksgiving Day\,  we hold our annual Giving Tha
nks service at 6:00 PM. The holidays often get so busy we don't make enoug
h time to give thanks to the Lord. This simple evening service in the Fire
side Room includes traditional hymns\, a brief message from the Word\, and
an opportunity for everyone attending to share (aloud) their thanks to th
e Lord. It is a sweet experience to share and to hear others give thanks t
o God.\nThe service will be followed by a time of fellowship and refreshme
nts at our “Pie Social.” Each family that attends simply brings a pie
to share. (PDB is looking for a "kitchen coordinator" to help oversee the
setting out of the pies\, etc.).\nAll are welcome for this service and fel
 lowship afterwards.
